MRI-Safety Week:
Promote And Enhance MRI Safety.

By Robert Junk, AIA, AHRA and Tobias Gilk

What started as a small grassroots effort has begun to draw interest and support from across the U.S. and around the world! Interest in MRI safety issues is at an unprecedented level and there’s still well over a month to go before we even reach MRI-Safety Week.

In an effort to disseminate information about MRI-Safety Week and to encourage participation from all sectors involved in MRI services, we have posted a number of web pages with information and resources for imaging providers, vendors, patients and the general public.

The web pages associated with MRI-Safety Week will be updated over the course of the month leading up to the week of July 23rd in response to the feedback you provide. If there are topics you would like to see addressed or other resources which would facilitate the promotion of MRI safety initiatives, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do whatever we can to assist you and enhance the recognition of MRI safety.

Please visit the webpage for MRI-Safety Week, share the link with your friends and colleagues, and return in the weeks ahead to see what new information is made available.
