The Change Is Here!
2005 will begin a new era for the MRI Newsletter. Starting next month, nine of the monthly issues of the newsletters will go to paid subscribers only. The modest subscription rate will enable us to continue to provide expanded information valuable to the safety and efficient operation of your radiology and MRI suites. Copies of the newsletter will be distributed freely to all current mailing list members who don't subscribe in April, August and December, only. Don't miss three-quarters of the year's content... subscribe! The new individual subscription rate is $80 per year. For those who sign up before the first of the year, we will take 25% off the subscription rate, making the annual subscription only $60! Paid subscribers will have all twelve monthly newsletters delivered to the e-mail address of their choosing, keeping you up on the latest developments. For our corporate / system members, we have site rates (making the newsletter available to everyone at a single facility or throughout a system). Please contact us for details. And for non-profit professional organizations, we offer a steeply discounted subscription rate when you adopt the MRI-Newsletter as one of your organization's membership benefits! Even at the full individual rate, if the information in the newsletter allows you to scan only one additional patient next year, it has paid for itself several times over! Avoid a single service-interrupting accident, and you've saved enough to pass your subscription along to your great-grandchildren!
For your convenience, we have set up two ways to pay for your subscription. You may pay for individual subscriptions with a credit card online through our secure Pay Pal webpage (you don't need to be an established Pay Pal account holder to use this feature), or you can send your subscription payment by check.
Mailed subscriptions must be postmarked by December 31st to qualify for the reduced subscription rate. For corporate, system or non-profit organization customers, please contact us to discuss site / membership subscriptions. If you're interested in learning what will be in the new newsletter, but you're not prepared to take advantage of the 25% discount, you don't have to do anything. Everyone who currently receives the newsletter and doesn't subscribe will automatically transferred to our mailing list. Everyone on the mailing list will get a monthly e-mail with information on what's in that month's newsletter, though the articles will only be available to the paid subscribers. |

RSNA - The Aftermath
To those of you who braved the exhibit hall floor and returned with more chotchkey than you ever thought imaginable, welcome home! We've already begun to hear back from many who have found our RSNA primer information useful to help guide your decisions for purchasing, upgrading and maintaining your imaging equipment, and we would like to hear from you, too. Please let us know what you saw, or what was conspicuously absent, that caught your attention. It is our mission to make sure that we are providing you with the best combination of information and timliness to allow your radiology / diagnostic imaging practices to flourish. |

Didn't I Read That Somewhere Before? AuntMinnie reprinted another feature article from our October MRI Newsletter on their website. "High-Field Extremity Systems" appeared on AuntMinnie on November 17th. They are also reprinting our article, "Chilled Loop Failure" which every facility with a superconducting magnet should read! Again we are pleased that Medical Dealer magazine has been interested in sharing our news with their readers. They will reprint our article, "Chilled Loop Failure" in their December issue which is distributed to thousands of imaging and biomedical professionals. Beginning next month with our new subscription policy, we will introduce a moratorium after each newsletter, delaying reprints of all MRI Newsletter articles. This will assure that our subscribers will continue to be the first with crucial industry news and a competitive edge in the marketplace. |

The Year Ahead Though it is still early to know all of our plans for 2005, we are pleased to announce that we have been invited to give two presentations to the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) annual meeting in August on MRI suite planning and safety issues. Watch newsletters after the first of the year to learn about the conferences at which we will be presenting in 2005! Or, if you're interested in an in-service presentation to your facility, system or group, we offer ASRT Category A CE accredited training. Please contact us to get the details on how we can bring a presentation to you. |
